Question about WiFi Calling

hello everyone can someone tell me why wifi-calling is so little or not at all advertised by the providers? many customers do not know that it exists (and has for a very long time) or what it is or how it works. yet it is an ideal supplement to the mobile network. some network operators also offer the service for postpay subscriptions. i think that with little effort, customers could be offered a quick and easy solution for many a signal dead zone. or am i seeing something wrong?

Various problems: e.g.: Handover when you leave your apartment (or any place with a WLAN connection) while you have a call running via WiFi-Calling, then I have noticed on various devices to this day that the call is still frequently dropped instead of being cleanly transferred to the mobile network, tried with various providers (network) and end devices/CPE (meaning smartphones), additionally, some providers have problems with WiFi-Calling when you are abroad because of the routing and billing (assignment via IP address whether you are/were abroad) or not. The German provider fraenk.de (MVNO in the Telekom network) is, in my opinion, very transparent and recommends deactivating WiFi-Calling abroad, as otherwise chargeable calls (from DE to abroad; not included) occur because Wi-Fi Calling must be routed. How an MNO handles this technically, however, likely varies. The fact is that WiFi-Calling still does not work everywhere (keyword: Handover) as was originally propagated in the media.
